This is Cate's first summer at camp! She is excited and eager to spend time with campers & staff this summer!
If you were a pasta shape, what would you be and why?
If I were a pasta shape I would be rotini because I feel like they make any pasta dish more fun!!!! I just feel like they are super silly and can go in any dish!!!!!
What are the top three things on your bucket list?
I would LOOVE to summit a mountain one day, hike rim to rim in the Grand Canyon, and go bungee jumping!!!!!!!!
If animals could drive, which animal would be the best and why?
I think sheep would be the best at driving just because they are so calm and I feel like they wouldn't get caught up in road rage :)
What's your favorite Bible verse and why?
2 Corinthians 12:9-10, “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” I love this verse because our eternal hope is found in Christ alone and this piece of scripture paints such a good picture of that! In our weakness, it is so easy to cling to the things of this world and dwell in that but ultimately our only hope is found in Christ alone which never fails!!! It is a great reminder of placing our identity fully in Christ and being a testament to the Lord’s faithfulness through our hardships because the Lord is at work through it all and has equipped us for the trials ahead!!
What are you praying for in anticipation for this summer?
In anticipation for this summer, I pray that Christ will be magnified through all our words and actions, that each girl leaves with a better understanding of the Gospel, and especially that she knows how loved she is by our Heavenly Father!!!!
