This is Ellie's first summer at Camp! She cannot wait to serve the Lord & to impact lives for His glory!
If you were a pasta shape, what would you be and why?
I think I'd be elbow, because it can go with classics like mac-n-cheese but also can be fancier. I like to think I'm pretty flexible and I like to try new things!
What are the top three things on your bucket list?
Go backpacking in the national parks out west! Create a national holiday! Scuba dive in a coral reef!
If animals could drive, which animal would be the best and why?
My guess is a dolphin. They're so friendly, and they can travel well in groups, but they also know how to have some fun!
What's your favorite Bible verse and why?
Acts 2:13 -- "And when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus." I love this depiction of Jesus's disciples, and pray that I would be more like them. They were known, not by how impressive, knowledgable, or prepared they were, but by the fact that they looked like their teacher and friend. Praise God that he doesn't call any of us based on what we offer him, but he delights in inviting us into his mission!
What are you praying for in anticipation for this summer?
I'm praying that the Lord would grow my knowledge of him and bring himself glory. And for girls to experience abundantly more of God's presence, character, and his life changing power through their time at camp to impact them for the rest of eternity! I'm praying for salvation and spiritual growth for every girl who comes to camp, and all the ones who will be impacted by their ministry!(Colossians 1:9-14)
