This is Emma Kate's first summer at Camp! She cannot wait to spend her summer serving the Lord & having fun with campers!
If you were a pasta shape, what would you be and why?
If I were a pasta shape I would be a bowtie pasta, because they're fun and stylish just like me!
What are the top three things on your bucket list?
1. Travel to Greece, 2. Go skydiving, 3. Start a non profit organization
If animals could drive, which animal would be the best and why?
I think an octopus would be the best driver, because of its eight tentacles! It could have one on the gas, one on the brake, two on the wheel, and one of the gear shift, leaving two extra hands to be extra safe or even do some multitasking.
What's your favorite Bible verse and why?
My favorite Bible verse is 1 John 3:18 - "Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth." I love this verse, because it acts as a reminder to me about how to be a good friend to those around me. Our actions truly do speak louder than our words, and this verse illustrates that so well.
What are you praying for in anticipation for this summer?
I always choose a word of the year to meditate on, and this year I chose surrender. My prayer for this year and summer is that I would surrender all worries, fear, and insecurity to the Lord and rest in the hope, love, and confidence that He offers so freely to us! So, this summer I pray that I would be where my feet are and through worries and doubts I would trust in the Lord's faithfulness! And I pray over all the friendships that will be established in a short few months, and that the Lord would use those friendships to expand His kingdom and remind us of His faithfulness!
