This is Evie's first summer at Camp & she is cannot wait to see how God moves!
If you were a pasta shape, what would you be and why?
I would be rotini pasta because I have very curly hair.
What are the top three things on your bucket list?
1. Travel the world and go backpacking 2. Own a business (restaurant/coffee shop) 3. Learn to surf/skateboard
If animals could drive, which animal would be the best and why?
I think a panther would be the best driver because not only could it actually use the car properly, it also has heightened senses of smell and sight that would help improve its driving.
What's your favorite Bible verse and why?
My favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 26:3. It says, "You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you." This verse has given me comfort throughout many seasons of my life. Even when we don't know God's plan for us, we can trust that he will give us peace as we walk in his will through so many unknown circumstances. God gives us peace that surpasses all understanding.
What are you praying for in anticipation for this summer?
I am praying that God will give me wisdom and guidance to help campers grow in their walk with Christ. Personally, camp will be a time for me to take a break from everyday life and grow in my relationship with the Lord. I know that it will also push me in new ways. In the past, camp counselors have always modeled Christ-like service and love to me and I desire to show that to campers this summer. I pray that God will give me opportunities to grow closer to him while being a witness to these girls no matter what walk of life they are in.
