This is Harper's first summer at Camp & she is so excited to see how the Lord moves!
If you were a pasta shape, what would you be and why?
If I were a pasta shape, I would be fusilli! It seems a happy pasta to me. It is twirly, fun, and so good!
What are the top three things on your bucket list?
My bucket list is always much too long. Currently, my top 3 goals are to learn American Sign Language, spend time out west training mustangs, and write a book of poetry!
If animals could drive, which animal would be the best and why?
Hmmm... monkeys! Chimpanzees would be really good at driving. Gorillas would probably get a lot of road rage and spider monkeys seem like they would be too shy. But I would ride with a chimp any day!
What's your favorite Bible verse and why?
One of my favorite Bible verses is Jeremiah 29:11: "' For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." Throughout my first year at college, this verse has given me a lot of comfort and helped me to trust God in new and scary situations. It is so easy for me to forget how much God loves me and how He is in total control of everything. This verse constantly brings home the truth that even if I have no idea of what the future holds, God knows and has had a plan since before the foundation of the world.
What are you praying for in anticipation for this summer?
I am praying for God to surround me constantly with His grace and wisdom. This will be a new (and very exciting) experience and I am so excited to learn and grow in Christ through this new season!
