This is Holly's first summer at camp! She is so excited to serve campers as a counselor this summer!
If you were a pasta shape, what would you be and why?
I would be bow tie. Because hear me out, I feel like I can be put together and chill but I've also got some spunk and can surprise people.
What are the top three things on your bucket list?
1) Travel to Italy. 2) Be on the New York Times Bestseller List for the fantasy novel I want to write. 3) See castles in Scotland.
If animals could drive, which animal would be the best and why?
Okay, so randomly I really have thought about this before. I would say an Orangutan, which is so random, but they are one of the most intelligent animals out there. Plus their hands look like ours so they could hold the wheel haha.
What's your favorite Bible verse and why?
I would say that my answer changes through each season of my life. I have tons of verses that have helped me immensely through everything in my life. For my current season of life I would say that my favorite verse is 2 Corinthians 10:5. It talks about taking our thoughts captive and making them obedient to Christ. Something I've struggled a lot with is anxiety and this verse reminds me that I am not controlled by my thoughts, and I can take control of them and make them obedient to the Lord instead. It is my current favorite battle weapon for anxiety at the moment!!
What are you praying for in anticipation for this summer?
I am just praying that as the girls come up to camp that if they are shielding their hearts from allowing the Lord to work in them, that their hearts would be open to the Lord. And that they would be willing to allow the Lord to come into their hearts and change their lives. The Lord can move in even the most guarded of hearts, but seeing those hearts open and grow is such a privilege to witness.
