Kate is from Pawleys Island, SC and graduated from Anderson University. She was a long-time camper, served as a Bluerock Counselor, SALT Director, and Administrative Director while at Crestridge. Kate is pumped to serve her 13th summer at camp as Admin Director!
What is your favorite spot in camp?
The bottom of Bluerock hill, overlooking the pool and the mountains. It is absolutely beautiful!
If you had to be an expert at any one sport or hobby, what would it be and why?
Needlepointing/sewing because I would be able to make so many different things and would never have to buy clothes again

What are small things that make your day better?
A cup of coffee, little notes, a hug from a friend, and a Utah Ute win.
If you had any exotic pet, what would it be and what would you name it?
A tiger named sprout
As the Lord is preparing your heart for this summer, what's your biggest prayer?
My biggest prayer is that campers who know Jesus will fall deeper in love with Him and just truly learn what it means to be a disciple of Christ! And for the campers who don't know Jesus as their Savior that the Lord will stir curiosity in their hearts and they'll come to know the beautiful thing that is walking with Jesus. Camp creates such a great environment for learning and growth!
