KG was a long-time camper & a SALT! She cannot wait to be back for another summer & to see how the Lord moves this summer!
If you were a pasta shape, what would you be and why?
Fusilli because I have curly hair! I actually didn’t know that’s what it’s called, I had to look up the types of curly pastas!
What are the top three things on your bucket list?
1. SKYDIVE!!! 2. Backpack in Europe/see as much of the world as I can! 3. Swim with sea turtles!
If animals could drive, which animal would be the best and why?
Even though they would need specially-made gigantic cars, I think elephants would be the best because they’re super smart and gentle!
What's your favorite Bible verse and why?
Romans 12:12 “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer” This is my favorite verse because it gives an incredible reminder of the joy that comes from trusting in Jesus, no matter what season we may be walking through! What a gift it is to be able to respond to a difficult situation by placing all of our hope on our Savior!! Patience in these situations is so important because it helps us to persevere in order to eventually see the goodness the Lord has for us on the other side.
What are you praying for in anticipation for this summer?
I'm excited and hopeful for such an incredible opportunity to teach and be taught, so I’m praying that I can purely be a vessel for the Holy Spirit to work and speak through me! I can’t wait to be a part of my campers’ stories, as my past counselors are all huge parts of mine!!
