This is Megan's first summer at camp & she cannot wait to see how the Lord moves!
If you were a pasta shape, what would you be and why?
Fettuccine! In a side by side comparion I would say we look pretty similar. And it's also a part of my favorite dish - fettuccine alfredo with shrimp!
What are the top three things on your bucket list?
Visit all 50 states (I'm up to 21 right now!), watch the Olympic Games live (I've been a part of the Olympic Marathon Trials!), and go to all the Disney Parks (there's 12!)
If animals could drive, which animal would be the best and why?
I immediately pictured the movie Zootopia which depicts a lot of animals driving and now all I can think of is a giraffe driving down the coast in a convertible. A huge bonus that they can see so far ahead of the cars in front of them.
What's your favorite Bible verse and why?
James 1:2 - Consider it a an opportunity for great joy. James is my favorite book of the Bible hands down. But this verse is so succient yet so powerful. No matter what we go through, good times and bad, we can find the joy that is promised us because it isn't based on situation. Joy is enternal.
What are you praying for in anticipation for this summer?
I am praying for confidence in the newness of it all. That I would be who God has called me to be and be open to everything with a postive mindset and cheerful heart.
