My first thought when someone mentions Crestridge is just the silent beauty of nature surrounding it partnered with the sounds of joy, praise, and laughter! Specifically, I ADORE the atmosphere of campfire nights, whether is be building a fire with your campers or singing with Ron about just wanting to be a sheep!
As the Lord is preparing your heart for this summer, what's your biggest prayer?
As the Lord prepares my heart for this summer, my biggest prayer as that He not only sustains me with His truth and strength, but also gives me a childlike faith that allows me to truly immerse myself into the adventure of discipleship while mentoring these girls. I pray that my leadership is nothing reflective of my own doing but of Who HE is. There is nothing better than seeing campers take new steps in their faith with a smile that only a joy from the Lord can provide. It has always inspired me to see how curious and intentional these girls are about getting to truly know their Savior.
