When I was little I wanted to be a marine biologist !
What's your favorite Bible story?
One of my favorite bible stories is when Jesus heals the Gentile woman's daughter (Matt.15:22-29). At first, Jesus did not intially respond to this womans plea but she was persistent ! She kept calling out to him fully believing that He would provide healing. It was through her faith and God's graciousness that her daughter was healed - WOW ! This story reminds me that even when it feels like God is silent, our faith and persistence matter, and He is always working in ways we may not see!
As the Lord is preparing your heart for this summer, what's your biggest prayer?
As the Lord is preparing my heart this summer, my biggest prayer is that each of us come with an open heart ready for the change that happens when we are in community and fellowship. The beautiful thing about camp is that you don't come alone and you don't leave alone - God meets us where we are, but He never leaves us the same! Im praying that these girls experience his love in a real way, grow in their faith, and walk away knowing they are seen, known, and loved by Him!
