Olivia Phegley
Hawksbill Village DirectorReturners
Olivia is from Nolensville, TN and attends Samford University. She was a long time camper, along with a Jet and counselor for the Hawksbill village. She is so excited to serve as the Hawksbill Village Director for her 12th summer at camp!
What is your favorite spot in camp?
My favorite spot in camp is either the Bear Trap Porch or the Upper Green! I love the social hub of the Bear Trap Porch, but the overlook & view of the stars at night from the upper green is hard to beat!
If you had to be an expert at any one sport or hobby, what would it be and why?
If I were to become an expert on anything I think it would be epic to be really good at apple bobbing. I have only tried once and it was a pretty major fail, but I'm hopeful a second chance could be redemptive. If not that, then maybe I could pick up break dancing.
What is something you would rate a 10/10?
Trader Joes dark chocolate peanut butter cups. The ratio is perfect, the peanut butter is smooth, the chocolate is impeccable. Nothing short of a 10/10.
What are small things that make your day better?
Being able to spend time outside always brightens my day, especially if it's sunny! I love hearing the birds, especially in the morning, and seeing the way the wind moves the leaves in the trees!
If you had any exotic pet, what would it be and what would you name it?
I think if I had an exotic pet it would have to be a chinchilla named Doug.
As the Lord is preparing your heart for this summer, what's your biggest prayer?
My prayer going into the summer is for the Lord to do abundantly more than we could even begin to fathom! I am praying that the Lord reveals Himself in new ways to each camper & staff member who enters the gates, and that we would leave impacted by His grace & His love!
