Olivia was a long-time camper & SALT last summer! She is so excited to serve as a JET this coming summer!
If you were a pasta shape, what would you be and why?
I think if I were a pasta shape, I would be cavatappi pasta (the spiral one) because it looks funny like a squiggly line and I feel like it encapsulates me as a person! It look like it'd bounce around with energy and laugh a lot (if pasta could do that)!
What are the top three things on your bucket list?
In no particular order, I really want to run a marathon eventually, I want to visit all the national parks, and see the northern lights!
If animals could drive, which animal would be the best and why?
I think pandas would be good drivers because they have opposable thumbs, so they get a good grip on the steering wheel.
What's your favorite Bible verse and why?
My favorite Bible verse is James 1:2-3, which says, "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness." This verse is a reminder that the Lord's plan is intentional and for our good & also a reminder to be joyful through all the highs & lows!
What are you praying for in anticipation for this summer?
I pray that girls come with an open heart to grow a deeper love for Jesus! I pray they can form new & meaningful relationships, learn more about the Lord, & have so much fun through it all!
