Piper was a long time camper & a SALT last summer! She cannot wait to be back at camp & to impact lives for God's glory!
If you were a pasta shape, what would you be and why?
I would be a fusilli pasta because I am very organized in my every day life, but I also love to be silly and have a lot of fun!
What are the top three things on your bucket list?
I wish to travel to Europe and see all of the amazing sites and cities, I want to travel to Japan to eat really good, authentic Asian food, and I want to participate in a marathon, Ironman and a Spartan race at least once in my life!
If animals could drive, which animal would be the best and why?
A gorilla because it is one of the most human-like animals, so it is able to control the car well and it is big enough to be able to reach the gas and brake pedals.
What's your favorite Bible verse and why?
Hebrews 12: 1-3 - "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith." This is my favorite verse because as a runner I really associate my life as a race and I try to be super intentional about going through life with my eyes fixed on my creator, Jesus!
What are you praying for in anticipation for this summer?
I am praying that the Lord will really help strengthen me as a leader and that overall I would just be able to have a ton of fun during my time with these campers!
