Piper Berry
SALT DirectorReturners
Piper is from Black Mountain, NC and attends Samford University. She was a long time camper and served on Bluerock staff her past two summers. Piper is pumped to be one of our SALT Directors for her 15th summer at camp!
What is your favorite spot in camp?
It would definitely have to be either the chapel during quiet time or the ridge overlooking the pool at sunset.
If you had to be an expert at any one sport or hobby, what would it be and why?
If I have actually wanted to learn how to play the guitar for a long time as I think it would be such a good way to decompress but also to worship the Lord. I also think it would be such a fun party trick to be able to pull out when hanging out with friends!
What is something you would rate a 10/10?
My perfect 10/10 would be a bagel because you can make it so many different ways for any meal of the day!
What are small things that make your day better?
I love starting my day with coffee & time with Jesus and having small, unexpected moments to sit and socialize with my friends!
If you had any exotic pet, what would it be and what would you name it?
The animal I would choose is one that is often said to be my spirit animal and it is a giraffe, specifically a baby one. I would also definitely name it Jeffrey as I think it just is a very fitting name.
As the Lord is preparing your heart for this summer, what's your biggest prayer?
My biggest prayer for this summer would have to be that the Lord would equip me with the skills to teach these girls how to serve and lead humbly while relying on Jesus for the strength to do the hard things without getting recognition. I also pray for Him to give me wisdom to walk alongside these girls as they are preparing their hearts to make the big decision of what step to take for this next exciting stage of their lives!
