Rachel is from Leesburg, Virginia and she attends James Madison University. She was a long time camper, served in 2024 as a Bear Paw counselor, in 2025 as our Bear Paw Village Director, and is so excited to serve as our Hemlock Village Director for her 15th summer at Crestridge!
What is your favorite spot in camp?
The lower pavilion on a sunny day!
If you had to be an expert at any one sport or hobby, what would it be and why?
Definitely fly fishing. Spending my time outdoors 24/7 would be a dream!
What is something you would rate a 10/10?
A Hot Blonde Vanilla Latte from Starbucks!
What are small things that make your day better?
So many things!! My cat, watercoloring, making sourdough, sewing, spending quality time, and a good reflective quiet time!!
If you had any exotic pet, what would it be and what would you name it?
A penguin named Pebbles!
As the Lord is preparing your heart for this summer, what's your biggest prayer?
My biggest prayer this summer is that both campers and staff would come to understand the gospel more deeply. I pray that the girls would see themselves the way God sees them: beautifully made, deeply loved, and fully known. My hope is that every girl who walks through Crestridge’s gates would leave with a deeper sense of God’s love and a growing curiosity to continue seeking Him.
